Mrs. Stephanie Day -
3K Aide

My name is Stephanie Day. My husband John and I live in Menomonee Falls with our two daughters Addie who is 3 1/2 years and Ellie who is 8 months and Lucy our 4 year old Belgian Shepherd. This is my third year at the Co-Op and can’t wait to get to know all the new 3K students and their families. Addie will be starting at the Co-Op this year as well. I’m excited to have the opportunity to experience the Co-Op as both an aide and a parent this year!
Before my daughters were born I taught 2nd and 3rd grade for eight years. I call the Co-Op my unicorn job! I am so grateful to have found the Co-Op because it allows me to spend most of my days with my girls while still doing what I love, which is working with students and helping them learn and grow.
Some of my hobbies include: knitting, crafting, and reading. I also love playing card/board games with family and friends. I love summer but REALLY love fall! I'm excited for leaves changing, cool weather, pumpkin carving, corn mazes and bonfires. My favorite thing about working with children is that everyday something is new. Something new to learn, to laugh at, to discover and to get excited about! Every day is a new adventure! I’m excited to be a part of your child’s 3K experience. I know we are all going to have a great year!
Mrs. Gina Peissig-
3K Teacher

My name is Gina Peissig, and I just LOVE being a 3K teacher at the Co-op! I have been involved with our school for almost 20 years in various roles, including Mom, board member, aide, and teacher. My journey began with enrolling my children in the program, eagerly awaiting my assigned parent helper days, and actively participating on the preschool board. Through this involvement, I discovered my passion for teaching children.
My husband, Corey, and I met at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire and have been married for over 25 years. After graduating, I worked for Andersen Consulting in Information Technology and Human Resources. Despite the excitement and challenges of my career, becoming a stay-at-home mom was the easiest decision I ever made. During this time, I realized my love for working with children and decided to obtain my Early Childhood certification, thus starting my adventure in education!
I treasure the moments spent with my family, enjoying activities like traveling, hiking, and “Pasta Sundays” at my parents’ home. I also co-own a small cookie business, donating all profits to local charities. When I’m not teaching, baking, or with my family, I enjoy the outdoors, reading, and volunteering. Being a 3K teacher at our preschool is a significant part of my life, and I feel blessed to be part of such a wonderful school community with amazing children and families.
Mrs. Kary Dietzler- Director /
Hearts & Hands Playgroup Teacher

My name is Kary Dietzler. I have two children, 6 and 9, who both attended preschool here at the Co-Op. I knew right away this was a special school! My formal training is in elementary special education, administration, and curriculum leadership. After teaching for seven years and earning my master’s degree, my daughter was born. My whole world shifted, and I became a stay-at-home mom. Luckily the Co-Op then became part of our lives! I loved my involvement on the preschool board and helping in my children’s classrooms. But as my children grew up, I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to the preschool. I began by teaching the Hearts & Hands Playgroup, where I get to facilitate learning opportunities for both children and caregivers. When given the opportunity to become the preschool director, I couldn’t pass it up!

I bring with me a unique perspective as a teacher, administrator, and a former preschool mom. I know we will continue to make our preschool one where laughter, play, and learning light up the classrooms each day!
