Mrs. Gina Peissig-
3K Teacher

My name is Gina Peissig and, simply stated, I love being a 3K teacher at the Co-op!!!  I have been involved with our school for over 15 years and have worn many hats… as a mom, board member, aide and teacher.   It began with enrolling both my son and daughter in our program.  I eagerly awaited the days I was scheduled to help in the classroom and also took an active role on the preschool board.  It is with this involvement that I knew I found something I was extremely passionate about – teaching children.

My husband, Corey, and I met at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and have been married for over 20 years. After graduating from college, I worked for Andersen Consulting and BORN Information Systems in both information technology and human resources.  Although my career brought much excitement, travel and challenge, becoming a stay-at-home mom was the easiest decision I ever made.  It was during this time that I realized working with children was something I was truly passionate about.  I decided to go back to school to obtain my certification in Early Childhood and, thus, my exciting adventure in education began!

Aside from enjoying the many activities and sports my children participate in, I cherish the time we spend together hiking, boating, and sharing “Pasta Sundays” at my parent’s home.  Recently, I started a small cookie business with a friend where all the profits are donated to local charities.  When I am not teaching, baking cookies, or spending time with my family, I enjoy reading and volunteering at our church.  My job as a 3K teacher at our preschool is also an important part of my life.  I am blessed to be a part of an amazing school filled with such special children and families!

Mrs. Kary Dietzler-
Hearts & Hands Playgroup Teacher

My name is Kary Dietzler. I have two children, 6 and 9, who both attended preschool here at the Co-Op. I knew right away this was a special school! My formal training is in elementary special education, administration, and curriculum leadership. After teaching for seven years and earning my master’s degree, my daughter was born. My whole world shifted, and I became a stay-at-home mom. Luckily the Co-Op then became part of our lives. Since my youngest is busy with kindergarten all day now, it’s been a fun opportunity to step back into the classroom. I currently teach the Heart & Hands Playgroup and love facilitating learning opportunities for both the children and caregivers that come to playgroup. I believe that the connections we make as parents are just as important as the learning that our children experience. I combine my knowledge of child development and love of learning to make a welcoming and fun community for all.

In my free time, I love to craft and create, volunteer as a PTA member and Girl Scout leader, read, and enjoy the outdoors. I have a one-year-old golden doodle puppy who keeps us all on our toes!

Starting in February 2024, I’ll be taking over the Director position along with continuing to teach the Hearts & Hands Playgroup class. I bring with me a unique perspective as a teacher, administrator, and a former preschool mom. I know we will continue to make our preschool one where laughter, play, and learning lights up the classrooms each day!

I am excited to get to know our 3K students and families. Mrs. Peissig and I have known each other for over 11 years. I look forward to supporting her and your children so they have a safe and fun learning experience.

The Co-op has always been a special place for me and my family ever since we sent our own kiddos here. I was an involved parent, always loved my parent helper days, and also assisted with substitute work in the past. I am very excited to start the school year and assist in the classroom.

I am married to my husband, Jeff, and have 2 sons, Ryan (15) and Colin (8).

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse with a Physical Therapy degree and practiced almost 20 years working with children and adults throughout my career. I am a caregiver at heart.

I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending the kid's sporting, music and drama activities and I am busy helping others in my spare time.

I want to teach myself how to play the guitar.
